One Million Moms, the conservative group which previously targeted JCPenney for hiring Ellen as their new spokesperson and Clorox for its “sexual” Liquid-Plumr ad, has extended its not-quite-one-million talons in the direction of Toys R Us, calling for a boycott of the chain over its stocking of an Archie comic featuring the same-sex marriage of character Kevin Keller.
The American Family Association-affiliated organization published the following statement on their website:
Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to same-sex marriage in a toy store. This is the last place a parent would expect to be confronted with questions from their children on topics that are too complicated for them to understand. Issues of this nature are being introduced too early and too soon, which is becoming extremely common and unnecessary.
Archie Comics CEO John Goldwater quickly issued a retort, saying, in part:
As I’ve said before, Riverdale is a safe, welcoming place that does not judge anyone. It’s an idealized version of America that will hopefully become reality someday. We’re sorry the American Family Association/OneMillionMoms.com feels so negatively about our product, but they have every right to their opinion, just like we have the right to stand by ours. Kevin Keller will forever be a part of Riverdale, and he will live a happy, long life free of prejudice, hate and narrow-minded people.
Toys R Us has yet to comment.

No Shoes, No Same-Sex Marriage, No Service of the Day: New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez will have find a new place to get her hair did after her openly gay stylist refused to allow her back in his salon until she changes her stance on same-sex marriage.
“The governor’s aides called not too long ago, wanting another appointment to come in,” Antonio Darden, owner of a popular hair studio in Santa Fe, told KOB Eyewitness News. “Because of her stances and her views on this I told her aides no. They called the next day, asking if I’d changed my mind about taking the governor in and I said no again.”
Darden, who has been with his partner for 15 years, took issue with Gov. Martinez’s statement that marriage should be restricted to one man and one woman.
“I think it’s just equality, dignity for everyone,” said Darden. “I think everybody should be allowed the right to be together.”

Oh my! It looks as though the Rihanna-Chris Brown couple rumors are slowly becoming reality. It seems that Riri is serious about getting back together with her ex-boyfriend following the reports that she has given him an ultimatum to either dump his current girlfriend or lose her forever.
Rihanna reportedly said: “Ditch her within two weeks or I’m gone forever” while Chris has said that he will only reunite with the ‘Rude Boy’ singer if she goes public with their romance.
A source said: “Rihanna wants to be with Chris. She has told him to get rid of Karrueche within two weeks. There’s a good chance Chris would be with Rihanna if she could be open about it. But until she’ll walk a red carpet on his arm, he won’t think about taking Karrueche out of the picture.”While Rihanna was nursing a broken heart, Karrueche was busy rubbing her relationship with Chris in Rihanna’s face!
Rihanna had plenty of reasons to celebrate this weekend, but that didn’t keep her from tweeting out more sad song lyrics. On Mar. 17, RiRi was with family at her grandmother’s birthday. Throughout the party, she tweeted out pictures with her grandparents where she’s laughing and smiling — but she appears to really be masking some heartache?
In the middle of the party, Rihanna wrote, “Dry cry, even tears…even my heart cries, but who cares?! Whose fault? No one, but myself!” Moments later, she added, “Wordz can’t explain!” These are lyrics from Sizzla’s “Just One of Those Days,” a song about a couple against whom the odds are stacked.
We’re thinking that being around all of her loved ones reminded Rihanna that she can’t share this happy occasion with the man she loves, Chris Brown.
On Mar. 18, Chris’ alleged girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, posted, “Damn you’s a sexy bitch @chrisbrown!” If you ask us, Karrueche is making it pretty clear that she and Chris are still an item! It sounds to us like she’s trying to stick it to Rihanna, who’s obviously trying to win back her ex!
That same day, Rihanna fired back on Twitter , presumably at Karrueche, writing, “More Oral, No Morals!!!”
What do you think of the rumours? Will they be back together? Are Chris & Karrueche strong?
